School Hours & Schedule

School Year

September–June

Summer Program

Part-time, July–August

Hours

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM

We follow a school-year calendar with holiday closures and vacation breaks.

Our optional summer program offers continued play-based learning during the warmer months.

Health & Safety Practices

We work hard to create a healthy, caring environment for our students, staff, and families. Strategies include:

  • Frequent hand-washing throughout the day
  • Individualized materials when available
  • Open conversations with children and families about staying healthy
  • Maximizing the use of our outdoor classroom year-round

Dressing for Nature

Children are outside for most of the day, rain, snow, or sunshine. Please check the weather each morning and dress your child in layers that are easy to put on, take off, and stay comfortable throughout the day. Please pack an extra set of clothes to keep at school, messy exploration is encouraged and celebrated.

Rain suits are provided by North Side. View our recommendations below for our additional seasonal gear recommendations.
